Our summer 2011 students

In 2011, six first-year students, and a number of upper-year students, have taken advantage of our
undergraduate summer research opportunities:

  • Kieran McGuire (1st year Science) works with David Pink on molecular dynamics simulations in biophysics.
  • Devonne Goad (1st year Science) works with Carl Adams on experiments on magnetism.
  • Ryan MacLellan (1st year Science) works with Carl Adams on experiments on magnetism.
  • Connor Buhariwalla (1st year Science) works with Peter Poole on Numerical simulations of phase transitions.
  • Stephen Deering (1st year Science) works with Peter Marzlin on Electromagnetic waves near metal films.
  • Laura Graham (1st year Science) works with Karine LeBris on Atmospheric physics.
  • Zachary MacDonald (2nd year Physics) works with Brandon van Zyl on Mathematical physics
  • Thomas Lee (2nd year Physics) works with Peter Marzlin on The Bell paradox in quantum mechanics
  • Aaron Farrell (4th year Physics) works with Brandon van Zyl on Mathematical physics
